Down In Flames, Fast Times, Holding On, Plan Of Action, Shark Attack, Tear It Up
I mostly remember this show for some of the covers that happened at it. Down In Flames covered Full Speed Ahead, while Fast Times covered Life’s Blood. I think I took pictures of both bands at this show, but I don’t have them anymore.Maybe Tear It Up too? I might have taken them for someone zine, so I just passed them off. Not sure. Shark Attack played a rousing set that had the room moving. They were so good live and got such a great reaction every time.

ADD, Blind Society, Fast Times, GI Schmoe, Inside Fight, Rise Above, Three Against One
I have too big memories of this show: Hanging out at a variety of band tables as the night went on and being very social with people is one. Second is Three Against One covering War Zone, which got a big crowd reaction as you can see on the video. ADD was another cool band that did a good demo at this time. I saw them a few times right around this era.

Cut The Shit, Dead Nation, Fast Times, Forward To Death, Full Speed Ahead
I don’t remember a ton about this show. I think I hung out outside for a lot of it. I ended up packed up front in the left corner for Full Speed Ahead, which kind of put me in the way of various band members for a couple of songs before I dove out and then took a step back into the crowd.

I think that was this show. They played ASS (lol) a few times. Three Against One covered a War Zone song at this show. I went to college with a few people from that band. Andy was later in Tear It Up and a bunch of other bands. I don’t remember Degenerics playing show, but that doesn’t mean anything. I think I bailed for awhile to go eat dinner.

Rain On The Parade did not play this show. They had played their “final” show, before getting back together the next summer, a few weeks before. This was the record release show for the Floorpunch LP. The record had come out maybe a month before and we had been listening to it non-stop. I went on a date the night before (with someone who ended up being best friends with the sister of a friend of ours) and could not sit still during the date because I was so excited for the gig. I worked all morning and when I…

Bane, Black Flag, Fast Times, Fired Up, Negative FX, Rain On The Parade, Underdog
Maybe Fast Times played this show too???? Bane got super big like six months after this show, but at this one they played to very few people. I remember their drummer blasting out some beats from a Negative FX song before they played. I yelled out “play that instead!” to some tumbleweeds. Wah wah. He seemed to appreciate it though. Rain On The Parade broke up at this show. For the first time. It is a long story, but there was some beef and they ended up breaking up. Not many people were into them besides the car of people…

Fast Times, Full Speed Ahead, Social Circkle
For the life of me, I cannot remember who else played this show. I think Social Circle and Fast Times did, but I am honestly not sure. Full Speed Ahead were great as usual and got a crazy reaction from the locals. I kept ending up on stage and diving off, dodging guitars and band members as I went. Fun.

Beyond, Fast Times, Floorpunch, Impact Fanzine, Moondog, The Parting Shot
This show was right before Floorpunch went to Europe. Fast Times and Parting Shot opened this show, but not sure who else. Had to be others, right? No one seems to remember. Parting Shot were the dudes behind Impact Webzine (before it became a fanzine and then eventually Gordo did Double Cross with Tim) and Finish Line Fanzine. They did a pretty generic demo, but then a new recording that sounded a lot of Moondog and Beyond. Cool. Fast Times was Ali’s band. They played a LOT of shows back then. Pretty much got booked on anything they could it…

These were the reviews from In The Blink Of An Eye Fanzine #2 (#1 was a brief one pager that a few of these reviews appeared in originally). After a few issues of What Was Said, I switched names and tried pretty unsuccessfully to reboot the fanzine. A lot of the same problems that plagued WWS were all over this one too. This came out in the summer of 1998. I am thinking late in the month of August perhaps? I did not do another fanzine for about eight months before the first issue of Parade Brigade Fanzine came together.…

Dan O'Mahoney, Fast Times, Floorpunch, Lana Gillis, Parade Brigade Fanzine, Parting Shot
This interview was done in January of 1999 for Parade Brigade #1. Originally, John and I were going to do an interview with Porter but that fell through so we sat down with Bill and later Zev and Kingshot at the Melody Bar in New Brunswick NJ after their show with Fast Times, Parting Shot, and some others. *** Parade Brigade Staff in Bold Bill-OK so who is in the band (why did I ask this?) Bill Punch-You know that, you can write it down. *** Bill-What happened with Lana’s show in South Carolina? Bill Punch-We canceled it. We canceled…
