The first thing I remember about this show was that it was FREEZING outside. A snow storm had come in a few days before the temperature dove down with it. Sitting in the back of a friend’s truck with no heat was a pretty brutal experience. What pissed me off though was he just called us a bunch of wimps. The same dude who fucking cried and made us listen to weak shit like Lifetime whenever a girl breathed near him. TransMegetti were a local emo band that one of the Tesi Brothers and Brian Strahele (also ex Hogans Heroes)…

Henry Rollins Band at Theater Of Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA 6-16-03

I would have gone to any benefit gig Rollins did for the West Memphis Three, but the added incentive of The Rollins Band busting out a set of Black Flag songs was great. Jim Lundy and I headed out to this show. I remember being pretty amped up for this one. A lot of friends went and there were many old timers there too. A friend kept pointing out members of old New Jersey and Philadelphia bands, which was cool. I have no idea who opened up. We got into the gig right as the band that was opening wrapped…

It’s Alive Fanzine

I did this one with Fred Hammer over email sometime in the late 90’s. Originally, this was for some issue of the one pager fanzine I did at the time Broken Behind This Wall. *** How long have you been doing It’s Alive? I have been doing It’s Alive Fanzine for about eleven years. My first few issues didn’t have much in the way of content, they were only a few pages. As time went on I started interviewing bands I enjoyed: Scared Straight, Born Against, Outspoken, Gray Matter, No For An Answer, Half Off, Youth of Today, In My…
