This was obviously a weird show, but I went to this show to talk to The Judas Iscariot about an interview. I really liked them and hoped they would be into it. We put out Parade Brigade Fanzine #1 in the spring of 1999. I have no idea what show we released it for, but I think it was at Manville Elks Lodge. Maybe. Amendment 18 Demo This band has members of a number of bands (Insted, Chorus Of Disapproval, Outspoken, etc) I had different expectations for this demo expecting more moshy stuff, but I got straight forward hardcore with interesting breakdowns. Nomos Demo Great 82 style hardcore from this New York band. There are a lot of modern influences on this band’s demo including Cold Sweat, The Snobs, and other, hey, early 00 bands. I would like to hear more. Our Side Demo Really raw, late eighties, influenced hardcore in the vein of Release, Youth Of Today, and Four Walls Falling. Off! First EP 7” Vice Records This…is pretty good? A new band from members of Redd Kross and Circle Jerks is something that I check out with a lot of skepticism. With Mario from 411/Hot Snakes accompanying them on drums, this is short and to the point hardcore in the vein of the Group Sex LP and early Black Flag (one song opens with a riff that is slightly similar to Nervous Breakdown).
