American Nightmare, Bane, Daltonic, Right Brigade, The Purpose
This was at a house but I cannot remember which one. I could never keep any of that straight. When Purpose played a few of us went off, which bummed out emos and I think a member or two of the band. That band blurred the lines between the hardcore and emo parts of NJHC a lot. Daltonic were a melodic band from Boston, I think, right, and played occasionally in the area. They were okay but not really my thing. I went outside to hang out with some people when Bane played, which is so weird because six months later…

Issue three would be the end of Parade Brigade Fanzine and, as promised in issue two, we mostly only reviewed records that were sent to us. Boy were some of these records awful! John and I handle most of the reviews with only the Carry On and Esteem records getting both of us. Issue four would have had a Carry On interview that I think John actually did…? Our friend Ryan, who did a lot of grunt work with me getting this issue thrown together as quickly as it was, jumped in to do a few reviews as well. 200…

It is hilarious how infamous this show has become over the years, but, uh, yeah…it was pretty good… Floorpunch came back from their European tour in the 1999 and seemed to drop off the face of the earth. They were supposed to play a gig that May with Vision and In My Eyes (where a bunch of pics from their second LP were taken. Oh, look, it’s me!) at Berkeley Heights, but dropped off (and so did Vision and I think h2o too. In My Eyes ended up headlining…I think…we will get to that show eventually) and then word seemed…

American Nightmare, Betrayed, Carry On, Internal Affairs, Right Brigade, Youngblood Records
Carry On It’s All Our Blood CD Youngblood Records This is the remastered version of this band’s CD which combines some of their early input. I still don’t see what the big deal is about this band. John used to tell me how crazy the mosh part in Off My Chest was but after listening to it three times just now I am still sitting here thinking “…”. Some of the songs on this CD are pretty good modern styled hardcore. I see why a lot of people really like this band. Honestly it just doesn’t move me though. I…
