So this was a Halloween show, which became a bit of a tradition in NJ around this time, I don’t remember a ton from it, but I think this was the show where FSA covered 7 Seconds. Degenerics played this show too and opened their set with a cover of “South of Heaven.” I don’t remember much else about this one.

I don’t remember a ton about this show. I think I hung out outside for a lot of it. I ended up packed up front in the left corner for Full Speed Ahead, which kind of put me in the way of various band members for a couple of songs before I dove out and then took a step back into the crowd.

I got in a big argument with a professor earlier in the day before going to this show. He said something really sexist about my lab partner and I called him out on it. He got ANGRY and we had it out. My partner was pretty upset, but also kind of mad I made such a big deal out of it. After class I wandered around the mall for a few hours and then drove up to the show. My first show of 1997 was in Bordentown, NJ at the Fieldsboro VFW (which apparently doesn’t exist anymore?).
