These were the reviews from In The Blink Of An Eye Fanzine #2 (#1 was a brief one pager that a few of these reviews appeared in originally). After a few issues of What Was Said, I switched names and tried pretty unsuccessfully to reboot the fanzine. A lot of the same problems that plagued WWS were all over this one too. This came out in the summer of 1998. I am thinking late in the month of August perhaps? I did not do another fanzine for about eight months before the first issue of Parade Brigade Fanzine came together.…

It is hilarious how infamous this show has become over the years, but, uh, yeah…it was pretty good… Floorpunch came back from their European tour in the 1999 and seemed to drop off the face of the earth. They were supposed to play a gig that May with Vision and In My Eyes (where a bunch of pics from their second LP were taken. Oh, look, it’s me!) at Berkeley Heights, but dropped off (and so did Vision and I think h2o too. In My Eyes ended up headlining…I think…we will get to that show eventually) and then word seemed…

Beyond No Longer At Ease LP Combined Effort Records 1989 This is another record, much like the Burn record, which really blew my mind. Beyond were pretty legendary to me before I even heard them. Remember this is the days before file sharing, eBay, and CDR’s. If you were lucky you had cool people in your town or pen pals who hooked you up with classic records and demos. Thankfully I had a bit from column A & B so I got a video of Beyond when I was 16. I was floored by this band who played lightning fast…
