Le Tigre, Parade Brigade Fanzine
I dated someone around this time who was really heavily into queercore and riot grrrl bands, so I dove a bit deeper into those scenes than a previously had (which, before this, was mostly for the mighty Team Dresch, whose Personal Best album is the Age of Quarrel of queer core) in the past, which had mostly been wading my toes in and checking out the bigger bands. Kaboom!, Le Tigre
(This was 4040, right?) I ended up going to see Le Tigre again a few months later. I think they had, or were about to put out, a new record around this time? After a nightmare trying to find parking, I met up with some friends and headed to the show. Some kind of hip-hop/breakdance group opened the show and it was hilarious watching a room of very white/middle class baby dykes trying to get down. These are our personal pages from Parade Brigade #2. Again, mine is very brief. #2 All I have to say is it’s good to be back! It has been a really long time between issues, shit happens, things just get in the way. In the future we will hopefully be doing this more often. Things have been hectic and priorities change.
