I remember spending a lot of this show sitting in the back reading a book for one of my classes. I was taking a 20th century fiction course and was really taken by a few of the stories we were reading in the class. The professor for that class kind of had a punk background and checked out my fanzine of that era. I probably watched Down In Flames. However, the draw at this show was the first local appearance of No Justice, who had already gained quite the reputation for themselves without any recorded material.
The hype was huge and they tore it up for sure. It was nice to see Timmy from Bladecrasher again and a few friends I’d made online from that area. It’s hard to describe what their sets were like to someone who was not there.
This was during the brief time that Rain On The Parade was affiliated with Teamwork Records. I had an ROTP/Teamwork stick on a dresser for like 15 years after this (barely survived a move in 2014). I had not seen those guys in a minute and I remember catching up with them afterwards.
