Bold, Breakdown, Citizens Arrest, No Contest, One Sided War, Out Cold, Wide Awake
Wide Awake did not play this show, but No Contest got added as they had two new records coming out. They were a great band from here in NJ. I do not remember anything particular about their set or Fanshen, although I swear I took pictures of them? I loaned out a lot of pictures back then and most never got back to me. We put out Parade Brigade Fanzine #1 in the spring of 1999. I have no idea what show we released it for, but I think it was at Manville Elks Lodge. Maybe. Amendment 18 Demo This band has members of a number of bands (Insted, Chorus Of Disapproval, Outspoken, etc) I had different expectations for this demo expecting more moshy stuff, but I got straight forward hardcore with interesting breakdowns. Citizens Arrest A Light In The Darkness 7” Wardance Records 1990 Citizens Arrest, while other New York bands were playing youth crew or noodling on guitar solos as their mullets got bigger, were playing raging hardcore in the early nineties. A Light In The Darkness is brutal; a great mix of Siege, Septic Death, and all things Italian and Scandinavian. This is an essential seven inch, one of the best ever.
