Arms Reach, Barebones Hardcore, Bob Mould, Fearless Iranians From Hell, Hot Cross, Husker Du, Leslie Adams, Life Love Regret, Sugar, Underdog
Big congrats to Manahawkin hardcore diva Leslie Adams and her store Fate winning a bunch of awards in local newspaper voting.
Check out this interview with the newest band from members of Arms Reach, Life Love Regret .
Everything Went Black has a great post up right now about a favorite band of mine, The Fearless Iranians From Hell.
Bob Mould is currently blogging about his latest tour. I have heard that not only will he be playing songs from his solo records and from Sugar records, but also some Husker Du songs as well. I would love to see that; although, it would probably be a lot more of Hardly Getting Over It and not a lot of Brick Layer or Everything Falls Apart .
Our friends in the band Hot Cross have a newly demoed song up on their Myspace page.
Barebones Hardcore has an excellent interview with Ritchie Birkenhead up over on their blog.
Speaking of, Underdog played an amazing set Saturday night in Asbury Park . I did not really know what to expect from the small venue (a bowling alley!) but the band, and crowd, came through with flying colors. I will have a review up here soon.
In fact, hopefully, in the coming weeks I will have a bunch of show reviews up. There may be an announcement for the newest members of the “staff” (or whatever) here at Signifying Nothing. A few of these faces will be very familiar to people familiar with a lot of the older contents of this blog.
Finally special birthday shout outs to Super Mario, who turned twenty yesterday.
