I do not remember a ton from this show, but the big thing I remember is interviewing Kill Your Idols in the bathroom of Casino Skate Park. That was the only quiet place we could find unfortunately. After a pretty iffy Antidote show in Red Bank a few weeks before, we headed up to Asbury Park to see them again. Full Speed Ahead were also playing, but another band really impressed us. Full Speed Ahead, Reagan Youth, Three Against One, War Zone
I remember 3 Against 1 covered War Zone and a lot of people were going off for Full Speed Ahead. Sometime during their set, a teenage girl got hit really hard and I think was concussed. Someone covered Reagan Youth at this show too.

Degenerics, Full Speed Ahead, SOV, Worthless
This was my first experiences with all these bands. S.O.V. I would see a lot over the years and of course DJ ended up in Full Speed Ahead too. Worthless were a pop punk band I did not like. Degenerics were still kind of getting their sound together at this point, but eventually they would be pretty raging. One of my friends interviewed S.O.V. and Worthless at another show, but I do not know if he ever printed them or anything.

This was a pretty generic Underdog show. They were quite good and I chilled up front for the whole set because a bunch of drunk BACK IN THE DAY dickheads were dancing like shitheads. I have no memory of who else played at all.

Ignite, No Contest, Purpose, Rain On The Parade, Shutdown
My first show of 1998 took me to Yardley again, which had been the site of an infamous show a few weeks before. I don’t remember much about Purpose.
