My only show of 2018 took me back to Asbury Park to see Full Speed Ahead. It’s about an hour from where I am living now back to the shore, but my GPS brought me in a different way that had me a little confused. When Bob Shedd puts on a gig, you know it is going to be good. Full Speed Ahead are playing a few shows this summer. I missed their last reunion gig in 2006 (?), so I knew I had to head out to this show. This was also my first gig of the year. One of the great things about living in Mount Holly is the commute. I ended off 2013 by heading out to see the Cro-Mags. They haven’t played down the shore probably since the show at Middlesex County College in 1994 (which my friends skipped to go see Earth Crisis and Four Walls Falling in Philadelphia!
