This was another show where a lot of my friends came out for INFEST, of course, but I got there really early. The Log Cabin has a small parking lot, so I wanted to make sure I got a spot. I hate parking in a random place in a suburban neighborhood, but now more than ever given all the Next Door obsessed “Karen” nonsense out there these days. No thanks! So I waited around for people to begin showing up, and we spent the first few bands outside catching up.
We caught a little bit of School Drugs and they sounded good. Wound Man were excellent and the room was moving for them. I really like their records a lot.
I am glad I got to see INFEST again because who knows when that will happen! They played all the hits and sounded very tight. They have a record on my eighties, nineties, 00s, and 2010s Top 100 lists. Obviously, they were massively influential on us in ways that bands like Youth of Today, SSD, Born Against, and Breakdown were. I wish I had picked up a shirt, but oh well. Both of the ones I have had got wrecked over the years.
