Citizens Arrest, while other New York bands were playing youth crew or noodling on guitar solos as their mullets got bigger, were playing raging hardcore in the early nineties. A Light In The Darkness is brutal; a great mix of Siege, Septic Death, and all things Italian and Scandinavian. This is an essential seven inch, one of the best ever.
Citizens Arrest were also on a bunch of compilations and have a great WNYU set. Their LP Colossus, while not as good as the seven inch, is also very good. Utopia is a great intro. A lot of this is collected on an LP on Deadalive Records. Colossus is still in print I think?
